Welcome to the Witham Third District Internal Drainage Board website.
The Board is a mix of 15 members appointed by the district councils which contribute towards the Board's expenses and 14 members elected by the occupiers of land in the district who contribute towards the Boards expenses. The Board are administered by a Clerk and supporting staff. The Board determine policy within the constraints imposed upon them by government, the staff are responsible for implementing the policy.
